Thanks Louise!

Happy Sunday. Jane has new wires on and is sounding super-sonic!!!
I am suitably hot and bothered, and have been jabbed and poked with spiky wires countless times- hats off to Billy and Brad (harp doctors) who normally do this. It’s incredibly hard work but so worth it. 🎶

What a day! ❤️An amazing day for our RNCM Harp Ensemble concert. Inspirational Women were celebrated!

Firstly, Sally Beamish introducing her Pavan, which I was thrilled to play with former graduate, Louise Thomson.

Nantcol Songs for 6 harps and soprano by Rhian Samuel. Fabulous contributions from Alicia Cadwgan and Melvin Tay.

The beautiful Peach Blossom Garden by Grace-Evangeline Mason, and the top tapping John R by jazz harpist, Dorothy Ashby (arr. Alice Roberts).

We dedicated the concert to Helen MacLeod, wore her favourite colours, and played her harp.

Thank you to everyone who supported us.

What an incredible day I’ve had playing at the RNCM alongside the wonderful Eira Lynn Jones. It was so exciting to have been invited back to perform in the concert hall, and Sally Beamish’s Pavan for 2 harps is stunning.
This concert in memory of Helen was full of beautiful music played amazingly by RNCM harps. Helen would’ve loved every second.
Thank you to the harp department at RNCM and Eira for having me. You are a wonderful group of musicians and people. A most enjoyable concert.

Beautiful morning of music and remembering our dear Helly. 😍An early morning rehearsal today preparing for the RNCM Harp Ensemble concert on March 7th. 1.15 RNCM Concert Hall.

The concert is dedicated to the memory of Helen MacLeod. I am so pleased that one of Helen’s college friends, Louise Thomson will be joining me to play the opening piece: Pavan by Sally Beamish.

A beautiful start to a Friday: gorgeous music, sunshine flooding in, and sharing memories of Helen. #alwaysremembering

Beautiful morning of music and remembering our dear Helly. 😍

Here’s my beautiful date for tonight! 😍
I’m absolutely loving playing my gorgeous “plain Jane” again while my “Goldie” is being repaired over at Salvi. Over the last few weeks she has truly come alive again. What a stunning sound!
Plain-Jane and I are looking forward to some exciting concerts coming up this season: solo recitals, vocal ensembles, harp ensembles and some very brilliant children’s concerts too with Concerteenies. Check out my website for all details.

It looks more a classy Jane rather than a plain Jane
