Exciting harp times ahead this week!

I’m absolutely thrilled to be performing this wonderful new musical story for Concerteenies, written for harp by the very clever Paul Rissmann.
This exciting, brand new commission is action packed, dramatic and very colourful! Come join us for the premier performance!🎨 Our Musical Story, ‘Mixed’, will be performed by Louise Thomson - Concert Harpist

Louise has been a well-loved regular at Concerteenies since the beginning! She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Bridgewater Hall, alongside the Hallé Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, National Symphony Orchestra and many more. She has performed live on BBC Radio 3, and made her television debut performing live on BBC 1 alongside soprano Katherine Jenkins. Louise has performed for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at The Royal Variety Performance and, with the Live Music Now Scheme, she has toured the UK giving solo recitals and educational workshops to an enormous range of audiences.

I had the absolute pleasure of playing for a very beautiful and intimate wedding today in our new village of Hale Barns.
Today was the first time since January that I’ve been out performing with my harp and I loved every single second. It absolutely fed my soul today and made me realise just how much I have missed my performing.
Stay strong and creative all my wonderful musical friends who are missing playing too. We will come back from this and how rewarding and wonderful performing live for an audience will feel when it does 🎶 ❤️
